Cedar Hog Fuel Bulk & Pre Bagged
Our Hog Fuel is 100% non-recycled cedar. It is clean and can be used in a variety of ways. Hog fuel is used in horse riding arenas, paddocks, dog runs and paths, and even to build temporary roads. The Hog Fuel that we carry is made when the material left over from cedar shakes and shingles is run through a machine called a "hog" and is ground up into a stringy, fibrous material. It is called hog fuel because the material can be used to burn for fuel at pulp mills to generate electricity.
NOT ALL HOG FUEL IS THE SAME. When in doubt take a drive out we would love to see you!
Hog fuel is any type of wood product that can be burned for fuel but can't be classified as chips, shavings, bark, or sawdust. Products from other companies may contain woods that break down faster, have woods that are toxic to animals, or be made from recycled pallet boards. Make sure you know what you are getting.
All our wood byproduct are recycled from new products and always ANIMAL FRIENDLY!
